CLAIRE LOVERING
Claire
Lovering is an award-winning Australian actress, writer, and voice artist
whose career spans theatre, film, television, and audio work. Born and raised
in Fremantle, Western Australia, she graduated from the Western Australian
Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), one of the country’s most prestigious drama
schools.
Her early career was rooted in theatre, where
she performed with major Australian companies such as the Sydney Theatre
Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, and Queensland Theatre Company. A defining
moment came with her performance in The Feather
in the Web for Griffin Theatre Company, which earned her the Sydney
Theatre Award for Best Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Main Stage
Production in 2018.
Claire has since made a strong transition to
screen work, showcasing her versatility in both comedy and drama. She played
the lead role of Gert in the acclaimed series Gold
Diggers and appeared in the Amazon original comedy Class of ’07, a performance that earned her an Equity Award
nomination. Her screen credits also include appearances in North Shore, Wolf Like Me,
and several independent films, further establishing her as a dynamic and
adaptable performer.
Beyond acting, Claire is a sought-after voice
artist known for her smooth, versatile, and engaging tone. She has voiced
numerous national campaigns for brands such as Qantas, Google, and Airbnb, as
well as narrating a range of audiobooks.
